AVSil Silica Rope

AVSil Amorphous Silica Rope is used for high temperature packings, seals, cores for tadpole tapes, and seals for casting molds. To improve handling properties during installation, AVSil rope has a coating which will decompose at elevated temperature. There are two rope constructions available - Twisted and Braided.

AVSil Silica Rope products can be modified upon request with knitted metal wire constructions to improve abrasion resistance and compression properties.

Standard roll size is 100 ft. except TR-H-1 which is supplied in 75 ft. rolls.

Standard roll size is 100 ft. except BR-H-1 which is supplied in 75 ft. rolls. BR-1 3/8 and BR-2 are uncoated and supplied in 45 ft. ą 10% lengths. The BR-2 is jacketed with an outer sleeve.
