Product Description

AVSil amorphous Silica Fabrics are high temperature fabrics used for a wide range of insulation and protection applications such as welding curtains, welding blankets and welding pads. AVSil has a minimum silicon dioxide content of 96% for optimum performance. AVSil Silica Fabrics can be fabricated into many forms to withstand continuous temperatures up to 1,800°F (980°C) for various periods of time.

AVSil Silica Fabrics are available with our standard hydrocarbon coating (CH Series) or with a proprietary abrasion resistant coating (CSR Series). AVSil Silica Fabrics can be fabricated with grommets.
